When platforms grow: Spread Group relies on Netresearch for Spreadshop
Digital platforms are constantly evolving - and with them, the requirements for stability, performance and scalability are increasing. Against this backdrop, the collaboration between the Spread Group and Netresearch began in 2025 with the aim of further developing Spreadshop as a central B2B funnel in a technically sustainable way.
At the start of the project, the focus was on a structured analysis of the existing system landscape. Processes, dependencies and technical framework conditions were analysed together in order to create a reliable basis for the next development steps. The focus was not on the pure optimisation of individual components, but on the strategic further development of the existing system architecture.
Spreadshop: flexible, international, scalable
Spreadshop is designed as an international platform and is based on a modern headless architecture. Content is maintained in the CMS Amplience and played out via APIs, which enables flexible and consistent use across different touchpoints - for example for multilingual blog and FAQ areas.
On this basis, technical measures are gradually being implemented as part of the collaboration. These include performance optimisations such as additional caching mechanisms and further developments in the frontend and backend. In addition, technical SEO is an integral part of the project right from the start in order to increase the visibility of the content in the long term.
Continuous further development with a view to future requirements
The collaboration between Spread Group and Netresearch is designed as an ongoing process. The aim is to further expand the technical basis of Spreadshop and prepare it for future requirements. This will create a scalable platform that supports further growth.
We would like to thank the Spread Group for the trust they have placed in us and look forward to continuing our collaboration.
